Can i get a passport?

I was told i cant since im 16 and i live with my grandmother and not my true parents. Is this true?

  1. I'm not sure who told you that you cannot have a passport because you're only 16. I've included a link below that may help you out there. Form PPTC-155 (the second link) will help you there. As for the fact that you live with your grandparents and not your "true" parents, please look through the second link. Essentially, if your grandparents are your "legal" (meaning as ordered by the courts and not one's own personal view) guardians, then they can act as guarantors for you.
