Can i get a perm even if i have short hair?

I have thin straight hair, and it's short so i can spike it up. I want thick wavy/curly hair, can i get a perm for this?

You can perm as long as the hairdresser can get a rod around it. But if you have thin hair it won't make it thick. you have thin wavy-curly hair.

Depending on the thinness and amount of hair you have, a perm could make your hair look stringy and even thinner. Go into a perm specialist and have them explain what a perm is and how it could effect your hair. Good luck!
