Can i get a phisical examination at my high school?

i am 16 years old and i dont think i ever got a phisical examination ever befor in my life. but i want to know if i can gt one at my high school? or am i forced to go to the pediatricion?

oh and how much will it cost?

You'll have to go see your doctor as school nurses cannot give physical examinations.  Depending on your insurance and the doctors charges, the cost will vary.  But you can call ahead of time to see if they accept your insurance or to check a price if you do not have any.

Are you in the States?

If so-- you must have gotten some sort of physical before in your life, since you have to have physicals and get certain shots even before kindergarden.

Most schools don't offer full physicals, but the nurse will always check you if you think there's something wrong.

You should really go to a pediatrician.
