Try hostels, YHA, also the etap and ibis group of hotels are pretty cheap.

i know that its probably not a 3 star but u can get some very nice youth hostels in france, and the good thing is is that they accept adults too! i went to france and i went to a lovely youth hostel with a games room and bed and breakfast situated right in the middle of town for only 27 pounds a night!

Yes you can but it will not be a "3 star."

£80 is about 100Є, enough for a centrally located hotel with private facilities but not enough for a 3 star hotel.

But then, that ought to be obvious as I doubt you can think of any 3 star London hotels you could get for £80.

In hotels on the Continent most hotel rooms are sold per   night not per person look on the easy jet website as they book hotels and have special offers go to Paris hotels look on the some two star hotels ar £55 per room per night room only and that is for two (but double check on this). so you may be able to get fixed up easier than you think.I love Paris so I do hope you enjoy your trip get to grips with the Metro as you have both the destination plus station of origin marken on the train! It will whip you around PDQ.buy a tourist ticket which will save you a bundle and also covers you for the bus and 10% off a river trip (Pont Nuef) and reduced entrace fee to meuseums and galleries so much to see a class city. Enjoy
