  1. You will have to change trains twice if you're going from Manchester to Torquay - see www.thetrainline.co.uk - probably change at Bham and Newton Abbot

  2. Contrary to what all the other smart alecks say, who clearly haven't checked, yes, certainly on a Saturday, when I assume you will be travelling you can get a train direct from Manchester to Torquay. There appear to be two services, at 10.24, arr 15.40 and 12.25, arr 17.15 from Manchester with one return journey at 9.37, arrive 15.02 (there are other return services, but they DO require a change)

  3. You will have to change, either at Birmingham New Street or maybe Bristol.

  4. I presume you mean Torquay? I think you will have to change - Birmingham New Street. Have a look at

    http://www.thetrainline.com

  5. Do you mean Torquay? I always had to change at Newton Abbot, but that was years ago.

  6. If you go a week tomorrow its only 20quid   ok one of the timings with cheap fare is direct but with such a bargain

how ever many changes it wouldbe brill value
