Can i get a visa card ?

i work for my dad and i am wanting to get a credit card to buy stuff online. since i dont have a bank account will i be able to get a visa card? so if i buy something on the visa card would they let me pay the card by cash since i dont have a bank account?

Why not simply get a bank account?  Most bank accounts will give you a Visa debit card.  Paying by cash would be a pain.

You do also have the option of getting a prepaid Visa gift card, but there are lots of fees associated with that.

Also, perhaps you could simply borrow your dad's visa card to buy things, and pay him the cash on the spot.  That is far simpler!

Typically, lack of a bank account will result in a credit card company denying your application.

Yes and yes.

You can go to the bank that owns your credit card and pay it there, you go up to the teller and they swipe your card and then you can give them cash or a paycheck to pay off your credit card.

Remember always to pay off your credit card, debts rack up fast and so does interest! at the very least, always pay your minimum on time or your credit score will go down.

Oh and if one bank says no( they might cuz this is your fist card), just go to an other one, diff. banks have different standards. (ex, at one bank,I got accepted for a student loan, other bank I got refused but got a credit card acceptance and third bank I got accepted for credit card, refused for student loan but accepted for regular loan!!!!! go figure!!!)
