Coursework is worth 25% of the final mark, so each of your coursework pieces will be worth 12.5% of the total mark awarded. If you've got a C and a B on the two pieces given so far that will 'probably' be the equivalent of about 13 or 14 of the 25% available (This is a guess though, it could be a bit higher or lower - check with your teacher). Can you then 'bump' yourself up to an A? Yes - grade boundaries vary from year to year but it is certainly possible and many students DO get a higher overall mark than they achieved on coursework (the same, of course, is also true of the opposite...)

What do you need to do?

For arguments sake, an A Grade is worth roughly 70% overall. (This DOES vary). Your overall mark is out of 200. (Coursework counting as 50).

IF an A is worth 70% then you need to get 140 marks. Half marks on coursework would give you 25 of these.

So you'd need to get 115 out of 150 on the exams to get up to the 140 mark. Thats 76.6% over the two exams.
