Can i get an ancestrial visa to the uk?

my mother & grandparents from my mothers side are born in the uk, i live and was born in south africa. my daughter is living in the uk & i would like to relocate as well. i am feeling very negative about south africa at the moment & would like to start a new life. i am 50 yrs old, what are my chances?

  1. I think your age is going to be a negative, the job market in the Uk is not brillant and finding a job and keeping a job is hard in the UK climate.

    Are you saying your mother was born in the UK? If so you may not need a visa. Let me know!


  2. You need to visit the UK immigration site, they are very helpful. I know that in Australia you can easily get visa's when your grandparents (your parents too, e.g. they will go back as far as your grandparents if they immigrated & your parents were born in SA) are from the UK.
