  1. you should ask the people at the pet store.

  2. A 20 gal. reptile tank is the minimum size for ONE adult gecko.  Geckos are solitary creatures in the wild, meeting up only to fight or mate.  Your gecko does not need company, and in a 20 gal. tank, she will fight with another one, not just because the tank is too small for two, but also because it will be her territory by then, and she will not want another gecko invading it.

You cannot keep two males together ever.  They will fight to the death.

You don't want to breed your gecko.  She can have up to 20 eggs in one laying season (not to mention how depleting this is on the female).  That means you have to incubate, then have tanks and heat for all those babies, and be rich, cause 20 hungry Leo babies will go through a 1,500 count box of pin crickets before you can blink!

Once you're in bankruptcy from feeding all those babies - then you have to find homes for all of them.

So, know what you're getting yourself into before you do it.

If you want another Leo, it would be best to get yet another 20 gal. long reptile tank, and keep them separate.

I'll post a couple links below you so can read up a bit on them, but please note my disclaimer.

An informed owner is a happy one with healthy and content pets.

Good luck with you lil guy(s) and enjoy them.

I hope this has been helpful.

  3. keep the baby in the smaller tank until about the size of the female you have.  then it can go with the one you have. I would suggest another female unless you want them to try and mate   and a male may harass the female..
