You don't say whether you have written the assignment and lost it in the post or you have lost the assignment question.

If you have lost the assignment that you had already printed out print out a second copy as a precaution and send it to your lecturer via registered post. At the same time send him/her and Email informing him/her of the reason for the delay in the arrival of the second copy and why you think that there may be a lost copy.

If you don't have the question in the first place either Email or phone the lecturer and ask for the question before the semester or trimester gets too old. You will need it for research and writing. Contact details should have come with your study materials.

I went to this site and found that there were no administration details. http://www.pondiuni.org/DDE/home.html This is bad for a major university. I hope that this is temporary. This is for distance education. I then scrolled down and found that on the bottom left hand side there is a link to http://www.pondiuni.org/.

Under P-U Mail try you login and password and see if you can find your lecturer and contact him/her that way also.http://www.pondiuni.edu.in/

That's it from an Australian who is not familiar with India's academic institutions. I notice that they promise MA in Business graduates that they will be able to get a job in Australia!!!
