  1. I'm sure he didn't want him.  Obviously, he had plenty of problems and couldn't take care of a child.

    But anyway...

There are lawyers who specialize in Social Security issues.  Get yourself one, because trying to get money out of government agency is harder than squeezing water from a stone.

  2. You're not entitled to more taxpayers money. Earn your own money and stop sticking your hand out. Taxpayers have enough burden, go away.

  3. I agree the delay is not your fault.

In UK, any one receiving a benefit, pre- October 2008, will ALWAYS be able to claim a maximum of 12 months back pay on THAT specific benefit.

Any claim commenced on/after 01/10/'08, will payout a maximum of 3 months backpay/(back-dated).

If you have already claimed, successfully or not, maintain proof thereof, complete with date and their signature!

Otherwise, claim now, pre- October, to gain the full 12 months.

You could attempt Criminal Compensation for the attempted Miscarriage.

You will need proof of Grievious Bodily Harm, Actual Bodily Harm, Assault, or Attempted Assault, Physical or any other Abuse, during pregnancy.

A repeated slanging match could be adequate, or malicicious food/sleep deprivation.  Even unlawful imprisonment.

But you must have adequate proof.  Medical/Psychiatric/Police reports or complaints during pregnancy.

From my own long hard cold experience of the benefit/compo system, it is all controlled by the civil-service.

You have far more hope of catching a well oiled sow than of convincing them.  This delay is their fault.  They were not on the ball at kick-off,  they never are.  They are fast enough at cutting or revoking benefit, also at slapping speeding and parking tickets!

    Bon chance!
