Can i get certified in bruce lee jeet kune do by video?

Noone here teaches it, only have tkd....are there any legit jkd video training series that can lead to a recognized teaching level? Ive had karate/bjj and would love to be the first teacher of jkd here.

if no video certification,,anyone recommend a standard jkd set?

  1. Ron Balicki has a distance training course. he's very good, studied with Dan Inosanto for over 20 years. and is his son in law...he married Dan's daughter Diana Lee Inosanto (Balicki)

    of course it's better to have real training, regardless of method of instruction, you need the feedback from other students and the instructor. but he's a great teacher, and great fighter too. if anyone could teach you jkd via video it'd be him. others also have good vids though like Paul Vunak, Burton Richardson, and Straight Blast Gym.

There was some debate for a while, but I think it is now safe to say that Bruce Lee's former associate instructor Guru Dan Inosanto is considered to be the current authority on JKD, and for lack of a better term, the keeper of the system.  He has a video collection at this website, and though I haven't seen it, I have taken some classes with Guru Dan and I'd imagine that anything he puts his name on would have to be quality:
