  1. It depends on a lot of things - when you were disabled, your actual disability, whether or not you have used benefits before, etc. The best way to find out is to talk with a local VA rep. The college you are wanting to go to will have one on staff, and if you have a local VA, the employees there will be able to assist you, too.

  2. (1) Visit, NOT call, the school's financial aid office--you learn more face-to-face than via phone

    (2) Contact the VA

  3. The question on the fafsa is asking if you are actually getting (or going to get) veterans benefits while in school.  It's not the application for benefits.  You need to contact the school and set up an appointment with a vet rep to see if you qualify for the monthly benefits the fafsa is referring to.

  4. 1st,Call your the V.A.regental in your city or call toll free 1-800-827-1000;EST 8:30-6:00p.m./m-f, You will be asked your name, branch in which you served, your full S.S. number and your your case # you will find it on any paper work sent to you /under your address it will start with the letter"C"and be followed by 8 numbers. Then you can ask is there veteran educational programs you are eligible for.Hopely this imformation will come of use
