  1. it depends on the state that you live in and what their guidelines are. In the state of Virginia your parents have to sign you to get emancipated, or either you have to get married with your parents Signature authorizing you too. not to be mean, but if your parents are willing to help I'd get all the help I could, society isn't cheap anymore and the Economy is just getting worse.

  2. You need to go to Legal Aid and talk to them about what options you have.

  3. Yeah. At 16 you are no longer considered a minor. My brothers 17 year old ( pregnant ) girlfriend is moving out of her home to get a place with my brother ( although they both have parental consent ) Your not alone though. At lot of young girls move out these days. If your pregnant, you should be a priority.

  4. Yes, but there is no point, you are already an adult, why waste money on legal fees when you are trying to achive something already achived?

  5. lol emancipation doesnt need parental consent.

Talk to legal aid (look it up there are HUNDREDS of sites)

but we carefully it mean that they have no control over you but then again you have no influence with them and you they will probs not be happy with it so they may make you take EVERYTHING you own out of their house and have nothing to do with you.

  6. You get emancipated when you show that you're a mature adult who can live on your own and support yourself.  Getting knocked up so you can go shack up with your bf doesn't support your case at all, does it?

  7. You have to look up your state laws. In california when you become pregnant your automatically emancipated. I don't know how florida works.

  8. you could through the court. i forgot how but just google it.

  9. Talk to her. She doesnt want to cut out her grandchild, does she?
