  1. don,t know if you live in U.K. or where?

most areas have a free-ad paper that is free to advertise and if you put an advert in the wanted section then you never know your luck, you might get some success.

the other way is to buy one get one free offer. that realistically is the only way or mates that are pi**ed off with the sport

  2. Unlikely unless you have a friend in the business or someone just gives you stuff. If you ever have an opportunity to meet and talk to some of the fishing pros ask if they have any promotional handouts from their sponsors that you can try. Good luck!

  3. From a friend or relative maybe. Most likely you will end up in Wal-Mart buying hooks and sinkers. You can buy lures cheap at flea markets, but IN PACKAGING ONLY, NEVER USED!!!

  4. Are you asking us to give you gear or are you asking where to get free gear?

You can get free lures on any lake or canal if you have a small boat. Look around the bushes and trees. Their mistake, your prize.

Weights and hooks can be found for free on the ground where people fish alot.

If you're handy, you can find plastic worm parts also and re-melt them into molds of your choice to make new lures.

If you want people to give you stuff for free, try Freecycle.com or similar, they're always giving away stuff. ~good luck catchin'.

  5. That's easy.

Just walk around any lake or stream, and you're bound to find some lost or discarded line, hooks, sinkers, and floats. Unfortunately, a lot of people are absolute pigs about leaving old fishing line lying around, so you're guaranteed to find plenty of that. I have often made a game of going to the water empty-handed, and catching fish using nothing more than what I could find in the area. I sometimes bring a branch cutter with me while fishing (the kind with a heavy duty scissors blade mounted on the end of an extension pole), and simply snip off problem branches where anglers tend to lose their tackle and then I keep it for myself. I don't know if that's entirely legal, but I'm sure the birds and other wildlife that won't have to worry about getting tangled up in the stuff aren't exactly going to complain.

  6. u could look online 4 a website were u test fishing lures

  7. fishing takle is dirt cheap all you need is a hook some line annd you cann make it happen but if you want to get into some bigger fish it can get crazy expensuve like 30$ + for a muskie lure

  8. hi dude i got lots of tackle you can have. if you fined away to come to stoke-on-trent your welcome to it

  9. i'll send you everything i own

  10. most of the time you will have to buy it, BUT, also check for any local fishing tournaments. there are generally a few companies passing out sample and if it is a recognized tournament there will also be pro teams passing out stuff.

ex...the last tournament that was in my area, i went home with

1 block chum (the brick kind you can store)

3 different berkley scented baits packs (1pk shrimps,1pk grubs,1multi pack)

    1 equalizer/cajun thunder bobber

    stickers

    and a floatable keyholder

they were also tossing out hats and tshirts but you have to fight the crowd for those.
