Can i get guidance about pilot training(commercial) in india?how to go about it?

also what is the future of this profession,i wear spectacles,so can it cause any hindrance? is there any exam conducted for it(how do u get selected) in it.any coaching classes for entrance exam.pls let me know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. You should join a pilot training institute to  get the required licence to become a commercial pilot. There is good demand for the pilots, you can contact the flying clubs in Bangalore or chennai where you would get the information you require. There is a training  institute in UP founded by Late Rajivgandhi

  3. 1) Future of aviation in India is very bright.

    2) Regarding your spectacles, contact the medical examiners who conduct tests for Civil Aviation Authority of India.

    3) Best would be to get in touch with the flying club nearest to you area. Explain them your future plans and ask them their opinion. Not only will they guide you properly, but will assist you in the required formalities as well.

    4) There is no entrance exam as such, but you will have to attend the ground school at the flying club and clear the relevant subjects for your licenses.

  4. Spectacles should not be a problem with DGCA

    Your vision should be correctable to 6/6 each eye with no Lasik etc.No opacity or field of vision errors.
