Can i get help identifying this spider?

I found this spider in california, and thought it was a "pesudoscorpion" til i started finding more. What is it? and are they dangerous?

  3. Definitely a jumping spider, probably of the genus Marpissa.

    They are not dangerous.  Jumping spiders are very interesting, they have the best vision of any arthropod, and the males attract the females by dancing for them.
