there is a girl at school who claims she knows that it is me and a few of my friends who have been egging a couple of boys houses. she told the boy who it was and he wrote our names down. can we get in trouble if there is no proof that we did it? like there is no video or pictures of us in the act, just her 'word' that we did it.

  1. If she claims she witnessed you and/or your friends doing the egging, yes, they can use just her word and you will get in trouble.

  2. its vandalizing and its illegal

  3. A complaint with your name on it can be filed and if you do it again and get caught, your screwed.

  4. Actually, this question could constitute proof.  You as much as admitted it.  Could be vandalism.  Could be malicious destruction of property.  The first will get you a ticket.  The second could land you in detention (that would be juvenile D. not the staying-after-school D.).

  5. No "innocent until proven guilty" it's your word against hers. You will have to have an alibi for where you were at the time of the egging. They have to have proof linking you to the egging.

  6. if you did egg cars or houses your an a*****e how would you feel if you bought a car and it got egged and possiby some damage done ud be pissed so dont bother and you shouldent get in trouble for it but you might but there is no proof so dont owrry about it

  7. If you did it, why do you think you won't get in trouble
