Can i get internet at home with no phone line.... who with?

we got our phone truned off as we get free calls on our mobiles..

can i get just internet at home with out payin line rental.

  1. virgin do cable and the mobile phone companies are offering all sorts to get your custom (i'd wait for a little while as they are about to do war on their offerings!) or you could get a company to use the phone line. It doesn't have to be switched on for them to access it. Use this link to decide on a companu and phone them to ask if they can provide a service even though you got cut off. (ask them to call you back if you're using a mobile) This link can answer everything I've ever needed so . . . .

  2. You can get mobile broadband now, all you do is plug a little gadget into your USB port on your laptop or PC - you can either pay as you go or go on a contract. No phone lines required. I know Vodaphone, 3 and T Mobile are now doing contracts for around £10 - £15 a month.

  3. You can still get DSL without a home phone.  We have it through Qwest in our area, and use Vonage for our phone service.

  8. three and vodafon do a device called a 'dongle' which you plug into your computer to connect to the internet anywhere. Mobile internet!!
