  1. buy a leather jacket, a motorcycle, and jump a shark.

    that should do it.

  2. h**l yeah you could get in. On your essays, talk about your unique qualities and what makes you who you are- schools will gobble that **** up if you have a complete story. Why cross country is your passion, why debate is important to you, and how it relates to the rest of your life. This is ten times more important to an admissions committee. You've got a great shot at coming here to Hopkins. It looks like you want to go into medicine if I could remotely guess- keep on pushing, you're almost here.

  3. I would think you are competitive, but there are many other factors in determining who gets into competitive schools.  Work on writing some very good essays, and be able to articulate excactly why you want to go to THAT school.  Line up letters of recommendation early so they are hurriedly written.  Spend a lot of time on all your essays as that is what is IN your control.  Show how your accomplishments will enable you to contribute to the freshman class--what can YOU do for THEM?

  4. Probably, depends on major, college essay, and interview... and i say probably only because of the 650 critical reading... but i think you have a pretty good chance of both.

  5. That is not good enough and sounds like to me you are bragging on yourself for nothing.

  6. Work hard on the essay and just maybe.
