I got a 88 on my living environment bio regents and was planning on attending an ivy-league, as a freshmen. I still got an A in honors biology but is this test going to ruin my chances, as you can see, i am not trying to continue in biology

  1. Don't worry too much. As long as you keep up those A's in other subjects, and do very well on your SAT's, you have the academic part of the spectrum covered. Also, contrary to what the above poster said, there are Ivy League universities in New York. Both Cornell and Columbia are in New York City(in Manhattan) and Ithaca respectively.

  2. Probably. Usually colleges look at your final grades in classes or your GPA. Also the Ivy leagues are not in New York State and regents exams are strictly given in New York State. Finally an 88 isn't terrible because the regents exams are made to be difficult, so many colleges hold them at a higher standard.
