Can i get makaton symbols for free?

No.... dunno what you on bout saying loads of places... ? Makaton.org does not teach you any makaton for free. Other than something special (BBC) and totalcommunication (which has a few basics on video) there isn't anything available for free. Not what I have found in 3 months of searching... I have no idea why. Just another example of companies taking advantage of parents with Children who have communication impairments. Wherever you turn, there's money to pay out to try and get the most basic needs for your child met, and it's ridiculous.
You can try the local library - many have Makaton training resources to borrow, though you'll need to be prepared to learn it quickly. Torrents sometimes have them, but it's rare and you need to get them the day they're on, otherwise there is no hope.
