Can i get my lip pierced directly under my current lip piercing?

Question

I already have my lip pierced in the centre. Right where the girl in the pic does

I was wondering if i could have another piercing done professionally directly beneath it where i have my original one.

The reason I'm asking is i've never so much as seen anyone have this combination.

If it is possible do the two piercings irritate each other and is there any higher risk of infection involved?

i have seen it done so yes!

they usually just ask you to take it out for 2 hours once the new one is in:-)
