  1. you can buy a compound to do this with but it doesn't work as good as the stuff the glass shops use to do this with,id have them do it they do it very cheap and do a real good job on it i had mine done for 30 bucks and i couldn't buy the kit to do it with for that much, and they did the whole thing, good luck.

  2. If you can see scratches, there is no fix for it...sorry!!!

  3. Scratches can't be fixed on a windshield. Check to see if Safelite services your area, they use non-oem glass (but meats all the OE specifications) and it's usually much cheaper.

  4. try aaa they are good and price are ok

  5. Nope.  Replacement is the only option.  Try getting a used (but in good condition) windshield from an auto salvage yard.  The prices are quite affordable.

  6. NO buy new one - sand bad cant see at night

  7. YES to both of your questions. Find a glass shop that has been around a while. At least 25 five years or so. Polishing glass was common back in the 70's. They use a diamond polish. Chips can be filled with a poly product under pressure. Those companies are pretty common.

  8. You can't buff out the scratches with glass,it wouldn't be transparent anymore. The only solution is to replace it.A local body shop did mine for $300 while I was at work, they had a mobil repair service using a van.It was a large windshield for a 2002 Honda Odyssey;I had my doubts.
