Can i get on another flight at a different time if i miss my first one?

I am going away to st.lucia for a month August 3 at 10 am. My passport hasnt come yet and i am afraid it my come the same day i am going but in the afternoon.HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

24 or 48 hours prior to your flight, call the airlines and explain to them as nicely and as kindly as you can your predicament. Tell them the truth and ask them if there are any options for you. After you come up with a resolution, ask the agent if she/he padnoted it in your itinerary so that what transpired between you and that agent is recorded and will be noted by whoever checks you in on the day of your flight.  The secret to being well accomodated  in the airlines is always good attitude and humility. You're the one who needs their favor so give them your best and seldom will it happen that you will reap what you sow.

Be sure to cancel your reservation the day before if you're unsure so you can get your money back! Then get the earliest flight out the day you know you're going to travel, if flights are sold out ask reservations to book you standby.

It is not good to miss a flight.  They will put you on standby.  You could get lucky or you could be there in the air port a couple of days waiting for a seat.  Good luck

You can but I think right now how the economy is it owuld either cost u or u would have ot be on the stand by lis tso if there is room for u they would put u in..

Cancel 24 hours before the flight (more or less 24 hours, check with your specific airline) and you will get credit / money back.

You will never get a full refund or exchange for another date.

Expect to pay fees and lose a large chunk of your refund.
