Can i get out of a lease within 24 hrs?

i just now signed my 1 yr lease and after seeing the neighborhood and how ghetto it was, i need out can i break a lease within 24 hrs and how?

Uh -- no. There's no "cooling off" period for a lease. You should have checked the area BEFORE you signed. Maybe the landlord will be generous and let you out, but I seriously doubt it.
