  1. yes you can but generally when you breastfeed som women dont get their period for a moth or so after stopping breasfeding i breastfed my son for 3 months and didnt get my period back until 3 months after i had stopped. i hope this helps

  2. You could, but you shouldn't be having s*x until you are about 6 weeks postpartum, because the risk for infection is high.

It's really frustrating for doctors and nurses when we give these instructions at discharge to have nothing in the v****a for 6 weeks and women don't listen. I just read another question dealing with the same issue, and I'll tell you what I told her - if you'd see the women who end up back in the hospital with postpartum infections because they had s*x too soon because they "felt great", you'd think twice.

Your period could return as early as 6-8 weeks after delivery, if you're exclusively breastfeeding it could be many many months, but not always. Breastfeeding doesn't always affect cycles.

  3. Yep!! You sure can.

  4. why wouldyou want to get pregnant, you just had a baby, enjoy him first.

  5. yes you can. you should see your obg right away.

  6. This is really different with each woman. Some women breastfeed for a year without ever having a period, and some have their period a few weeks after giving birth. I'm not sure there's really any way to know if you'll be ovulating and having your period that month or not, you may want to discuss that with your doctor. But, yes, it is possible to get pregnant 4 weeks after birth, while breastfeeding. Not likely, but it is possible. Good Luck!

  7. sure u can..but u should see ur doctor, the first period differ from a woman to another..it also delayed in breast feeding
