  1. sure after you get your period then you will ovulate again to get pregnant. it might be easier this time due to being more fertile after a miscarrage. sorry for your loss

  2. You can, but a dr would advise you to wait three cycles before trying to give your body a chance to heal.

  3. Yes it is possible a lot of women have fallen pregnant before they even get there next period after a miscarriage, I had my miscarriage in late april at 9 weeks and my doctor advised waiting one cycle before trying again and i am now 10 weeks pregnant! sorry for your loss!

Edit: how long ago was your miscarriage? as you may still have hcg in your system that could be why your getting a positive result

  4. It is recommended you wait at least one normal cycle before conceiving again, just to make sure your body gets back into a normal rhythm. I am really sorry about your miscarriage, I have experienced one at 12 weeks, and it was really hard. I had a D&C and the doctor told me I could try again after experiencing one normal cycle. All the best.

  5. I'm sorry for your loss. Yes, you can get pregnant, be prepared though, you won't ovulate until your levels reach zero, so it may be about 4-6 weeks until you get a period and start to ovulate again. You are actually really fertile for a few months after a miscarriage.

Edit: How long ago was your miscarriage? HCG typically stays in your body for 4-6 weeks after a miscarriage, resulting in a false positve on a pregnancy test.

  6. Very possible, as many women are a little extra fertile for a few months after a miscarriage.

Waiting for time to heal (likely to be closer to 6 weeks or so) would be more the norm if the miscarriage included getting a D&N.  That procedure would obviously "wound" your uterus and the doctor would want to give your "wound" a chance to heal.  If the miscarriage was early enough that a D&N wasn't warrented, then I belive you can begin trying immediately.
