the police told us that we all would get a postcard in the mail with a court date on it, but i am not sure if they just said that to get us to stop walking outside and go where we come from or if we will get something in the mail. they were crackin jokes the whole time and that makes me wonder if we will get the postcard. none of us were given paper tickets and the only thing we saw them write down was the names of the people that had no ID on them.

  1. You do not have to be cited on the spot for this type of offense.  You may or may not receive a postcard or letter with a court date.

  2. Yes, so start keeping an eye on your mail.

Next bit of advice is to not drink illegally, and you won't have to worry about this.

  3. No Name, no ticket. No worries

  4. NO.  If they didn't get IDs than nothing is coming in the mail.

  5. The police have your names and other information that was obtained at the scene.  This information was given to the county prosecutor/city attorney.  If they have enough evidence and want to prosecute, they will press the charges and inform you when you have to appear for court.
