Can i get sound from an Xbox 360 by plugging in USB speakers?

soon enough here im gonna get an xbox vga cable to plug in to my computer but that will not solve the problem of me not getting any sound of the xbox.

So i was looking around and found out that there are speakers that plug in through a usb. My question is will the xbox transmit the sound thru its usb ports and will i effectively get sound out of the speakers by plugging into xbox?

with the set of USB speakers i have, no, it didnt work.. i just tried them in my 360.. it seems the sound output is only from the back av...  its not hard to find a small adaptor though to turn those 2 red and white audio wires to 1 headphone jack, for use with pc speakers.. theyre usually cheap too, like $2-6 Australian...
