Can i get the podcast ready program to automatically download the latest podcast?

i have an off brand usb stick player and i want it to sync like an ipod would

Last time I checked that was exactly what podcast ready is for.  You add your podcast list to the MyPodder program and when your USB stick player is attached to a computer.  Fire up the program, if it's not configured to automatically start up, and it will download the latest podcasts from your subscriptions.

It's nice because there's nothing to install on the computer.

They don't work the way an ipod does - that's why they're so much cheaper. You'll have to do it manually.
