I have the permanent residence in canada. I am going to India. On my way i want to stay in paris for 5 days. Can i get the vtb transit visa at the paris airport?

    You are apparently an Indian citizen and therefore must apply for a visa at the nearest French consulate. If you are not an Indian citizen then you must still apply for a visa unless you are a citizen of one of the following countries: Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bermuda, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Holy See, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela;

    You also need to use the correct terminology. A five day stay in France is NOT a "transit visa" but a short stay visa.
