Can i give my 61/2 month old baby Barley Teething Biscuits? has anyone tried them?

I had the Earth's Best Barley Teething biscuits and they were SO messy, they seemed to get into the fibers of any cloth near it, I ended up throwing most of them out because they were so messy and didn't seem to make the teething any better (the only thing that did was frozen teethers).

I would probably not use them for a baby so young because on the few times my daughter did use them she was able to break off decent sized chunks after chewing it for a few minutes. It seemed like once they get decently wet they were much more breakable.

If your child has had other types of soft food I don't see any reason why you couldn't try them. Many foods like that are designed to almost disolve when they are put into baby's mouth. I would make sure to stay close enough to your baby that if he or she choked or gagged you could be there quickly to help. Good luck!
