  1. you can put any name on the birth certificate you want your child to have and be known as. think about the future though, school and that with her having a different name then yours, you will be questioned as to your legal right to your child a lot. ( I experienced it ) make sure you do list him as the father so if you need help you can get child support from his butt! without his name listing him as father on the certificate, they won't award you support.

  2. Depends on the state.  In some states you can give your kid whatever last name you want.  In others, you have to give the child your name if not married and your husband's if your are.  Go figure.  As for putting him on the birth certificate, if you are married to him, go ahead, you can do it.  If not, he has to acknowledge paternity or you need to get a DNA test and have it adjudged (otherwise, a woman can name anyone as her baby's father.  Yes, yes.  Donald Trump is really her father).

  3. He has at least a valid reason to doubt.  Legitimacy can only be cogent with identity.  Try the legal proceedings.

  4.   Even if he does not acknowledge his daughter, you can still use his last name if you listed him on the birth certificate.  But, in case he doesn't come around, you might be better off using your last name.  Might save you a few headaches and frustrations down the road.

  5. yes you can give your child anyone last name.

  6. NO!ur baby doesnt deserve an a*****e's name give urs n raise her good :) good luck n btw ur baby deserve ur name u ll raise her n worry for her when she is sick not him

  7. why would you actually want you???  giver her your last name..he doesnt deserve it at all!!

  8. You can if you want, but if I were you I wouldn't. I mean, if he doesn't want to know about her then why should let your daughter have the "honour" of having her fathers surname. Personally, even though you think it would be nice, your daughter is going to be time times worth her fathers surname, so I think you should christen her with your own surname. However, if you really want the father's surname to be acknowledged why don't you have both of yours, so it's hyphenated.

Hope this helps, and I'm sorry to hear that your daughters father is being a pig about it all,

    Vxxx

  9. why would you do that?  give her yours.

  10. Yes you can but why would you want to. He sounds like a real loser to deny his own child. Give her your last name.
