i would not try it. couldnt u go to the pet store and buy some hamster treats? plus the ingredients have sugar and salt. so i would not try it.

The product you have mentioned has added salt and sugar in it (of course a little bit of sugar or salt won't harm your hamster much but better to be safe than sorry) and has 8% fat which might not be suitable for your hammie. You can give your hamsters hard baked dog bisuits to gnaw on. There are brands available without added sugar or salt which you can try out. If you are not sure about which ones to give, better to get the commercial hamster treats which are available in plenty in any pet shops. I currently give my hamsters readymade hamster biscuits which has cereals, egg and vegetables and they love it.

I wouldn't give those to my dog.

Go find a nice organic/all natural dog treat with no dairy in it, give that to your dog instead, and it will be safe to give a very tiny amount to your hammie on VERY RARE occassions.  A little goes a long way with those guys...

they sell treats for them at pets mart even walmartthey have these patties that have seeds and are cheeseflavored or regular

I wouldn't. I would get treats that are for hamsters. My hamster loves the logs that are made out of corn, grain and other great healthy ingredients. Some even have a slight honey flavor. Check your local pet store, they should have a big variety of healthy treats.
