Can i go back to school?

i got homeschooled because i am bad in school i didnt get expelled my parents wanted me homeschooled. My question is if i got homeschooled can i go back to school?

You can, the question is where will they place you and generally speaking this means one of two common options:

They put you in an arbitrary grade based on your physical age (e.g. you are 16 so you go into 10th grade because most 16 year olds are in 10th grade)

The test you and put you in a grade level your test scores show you are maintaining (e.g. you are 15 and score 11th statioin so they put you into 10th or 11th grade because your scores and homeschool work history show you are doing this level of work) without any consideration of your age.

Yes.  I home schooled my son from 4th grade to 7th grade.  He's back in public school and doing well.

You must have your parents enroll you in school unless you are emancipated.  If your parents aren't willing to enroll you, you won't be able to go back to public school.

If I were you, I'd give homeschoolinging a good chance.  Show your parents that you gave it a good try, then if you still don't like it, write out the reasons you'd like to return to public school and your plan to do better in school.  Show your reasons and plan to your parents and explain how your are feeling about the current situation.  You'll be far more likely to gain their support, if you talk to your parents in a reasonable manner.  As a mom of a 21.5 year old, a 20 year old, a 10 year old and a 5 year old, I can tell you that when my kids discuss things in a reasonable manner, I listen.

There isn't anyone else in the world who wants something better for my children than I do.  I'm sure if your parents took you out of school to homeschool you, they want what's best for you, too.

I was homeschooled till I was in 6th grade when I went back to public school I had to take a test to see which grade I was in. That's proabily what you will have to do.

First, I'd say you are in school. Homeschool counts too.

Second, I'd say that you could return to public school.

You have to ask yourself why you were bad in the school system.  If you don't know why, you should ask yourself whether that's the best place for you to learn.  Or, put another way, what needs to happen in the school for you to succeed?

You should talk to the guidance counselors at the school and ask them these questions.  Maybe there's some kind of academic or other support you'd need.
