  1. Where are you from? If you are an American, you can stay up to 90 days in Sweden without a visa.

  2. Once you are in the Schengen zone, you can travel freely to all Schengen countries.

  3. A Schengen visa allows you to visit any one of the countries that's part of the Schengen area. You can apply for this visa from any of these countries. Yes you can apply in the Greece Consulate Office and visit Sweden.

If you want to visit Sweden then return to Bulgaria and then be able to go to back to Sweden, you will need to apply for a "Multiple Entry" visa. This will allow you multiple entries into the Schengen countries without having to re-apply for your visa until the current one expires. Make sure when you apply for the visa you specify multiple entries.

You will need to make sure that you are in compliance with your status in Bulgaria.

  4. A Schengen visa is valid for all of the Schengen Agreement countries, unless the visa specifically denies you entry to a specified country. Since both Sweden and Greece are within the Schengen Area, you may travel freely between both countries without having to obtain another visa. You do not need a visa to go from Greece to Sweden if you already hold a valid Schengen visa.

Youare allowe to visit any country within the Schengen Area, which consits of: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. Switzerland and Liechtenstein will join the area in November. You may visit any of these countries on the same visa if you do not leave the Scengen Area.

You may only leave the Schengen Area and re-enter if you hold a multiple-entry visa or are traveling on a visa-free passport. Since Bulgaria is not part of the Area, you will need a multiple entry visa to re-enter the Area. If you hold a visa-free passport, you will not need a visa at all to visit the area.
