Can i go on youtube on my blackberry pearl?

I have a blackberry pearl with t-mobil and am currently paying for unlimited internet, but can't watch youtube videos...only cnn videos(news). I click on the videos on the main youtube page and this message appears: The protocol specified is not supported by the handheld. Please try a different URL. However, a friend of mine has the exact same phone and he is able to watch youtube videos. what can I do? Is there a video website that my phone would support?

There are 4 different blackberry pearls and 2 different ones were offered by tmobile

Neither one will play regular youtube files.

As for youtube mobile the 8100 will not play it  

The 8120 will .

Which ones  do you and them have.

In order to play them you will need to find some blackberry software for it.

There are a few places you can get it  but you will probably have to pay for most bb software.

U can try moyea flv to video converter. With this tool, you can download, play, and convert youtube vids to avi format. I'm using it for a long time and it works very well.

You needn't get the url when downloading the vid.

1. Press "download", then "start recording"

Click in the vid you plan to download. The downloader will automatically save it to your hard disk.

2. convert the video to avi format

3. then save it to your BlackBerry
