  1. How new is "new"?

I wouldn't recommend trying it if the piercing is less than a few weeks old. Unless you yourself know exactly what the current levels of chlorine are, and what the Ph is at.... you could walk (or swim) right in to a nasty infection.

Chlorine does not always kill everything, and for all you know someone else carelessly went swimming in that same pool with an open and/or infected wound.

  2. I wouldn't get it wet. Its an open wound and even if dressed you're not supposed to swim with open wounds for at least a week after they happened.

  3. yes you can it may burn or sting a little but the chlorine will clean and sterilize any infection of blood etc still in the ear or on any piercing chlorine will do no harm to your brand new peircing it is always different with tattoos thought never go in the pool with a new tattoo but yes it is a okay to go into the water

  4. you can but it will irritate it like h**l
