Depends on the shop. Most flower shops will sell you one rose. The most expensive ones are the long-stem roses, maybe $ 3 each, you can even pay more than that. There are some called designer roses which can cost over $ 10 each. Just go to a few shops and compare, dont be afraid to ask exactly what you want. Some shops will let you bargain.

Sure you can. As long as it's not Valentine's Day expect to pay about $5-6 for a nice rose. They'll probably make it look nice with some extra greenery or some baby's breath & wrap it for you too.
