Can i go to canada without my passport if i was driving?

we are planning to drive to canada on 4th of july. but i lost my passport and boyfriend never had one. i was wondering if you can drive to canada with a driver license and a birth certificate. and if not how long does it take to rush order the passport.

  1. sure can . best thing about lost passport . stop in us consulate . in canada. duplicate will be in the mail when you return home . temporary issued on the spot . your boyfriend will have to apply in the u s a . take 3 to 4 months . by doing yours in canada . immediate . picture id , birth certifacte . enjoy . it is safe , you dont need snowshoes , and the beavers have been fed . and of course our national beverage act of parliment . molsons canadian , still cheaper than gas . one tip fill up in the u s a . our gallon larger than yours . so in american mearsurments 5.15 per gallon .

  3. It is safer if you do, but you don't have to. If you dont you HAVE to bring your drivers lisence, and your birth certificate. Be Safe! Have fun in Canada!
