Can i go to canada without my passport? if.....?

im not a u.s citizen but i have a greencard but my passport has expired can i drive to travel to canada with just my U.S GREEN CARD?

Technically yes you can. You just may not be able to return to the States. The new rules apply to U.S. citizens so you should check the rules for re-entry for non-citizens.

It was possible up until January off this year.........

but now the answer is NO. A passport is required for all travel outside of the United States, including Mexico and Canada. Silly rule if you have both Canadian citizenship and a Green card but its the law.
