  1. No.

You will need to purchase a visa from Costa Rica visa to enter from the Panama side.  Panama and Costa Rica are not part of the Mercorsur countries that offer open boarder travel.

We just received our residency cedula for Panama last week and now have our multi entry visa in hand, it will be nice coming and going as we please without the hastle of satisfying a visa requirement.  We'd been living here on a tourist visa which meant we need to exit the country every 89 days.

For other types of information on Panama see http://www.panamaexpertos.com/

  2. You can enter CostA Rica from Panama just by checking out of Immigration in Panama, and checking into Costa Rica.  Going back into Panama, they may require you to buy an new Visa ($5.00)

  3. You would have to contact a Costa Rican Consulate and ask them if you can enter the country as a Citizen from India with only your passport.

  4. How you can enter Costa Rica depends on your nationality, but you cannot enter a country with a visa of another country.  Are you a Panamanian permanent resident?  If you are different rules might apply.

Go to costaricalaw.com and click onto immigration to see if citizens of your nation are allowed into Costa Rica without previously acquiring a visa.
