Can i go to school in america with a green card??

hey I'm 16yrs old 17 on sept 16 i live in london but i want to go school in seattle because my pops lives there he applied for a green card for me and my brothers and that should come in by the end of the year.so my questions is:

would seattle school's accept me?

what grade will i be?

  1. In Jamaica (1988) I was 14 and in my second year of high school. When I came to the USA, I was put into Junior High (eight grade) due to my age.

    Since you are 16 and will be 17 in September, you will most likely be in the tenth grade (Sophmore in High School) and yes, the school will take you AFTER you have been immunized.

    You may want to have your Dad find out where you'll need to get your shots but the school (school district) should give you a list as well.
