Can i go to school without an answer from USCIS?

Hello, I applied for a change of status to an f1 visa, I am waiting for the answer, I was wondering if I can start classes before I get an aswer, please let me know if you have been in the same situation I am!!!

no, you may not, you will have to show your change of status to the school,before starting, you are not sure to be accepted yet? therefore, do not start without the proper procedure.
