Can i go to the bar if i just 16???

I know that i can't drink any acohol but i just wanna hang out in the bar...until 12 p.m,,is it ok??

  1. It really depends on the bar and its rules, and your towns rules. Some districts have curfews for sketchy areas near bars and will not even allow it if the bar does.

  2. probably no. I dont thing any minor is allowed in a bar. you are a minor until 18. Even then I dont know if they'd let you in. Try finding a fake id..lol

  3. VERY Doubtful, some bars allow underage people in, but you usually have to be 18, atleast in my state.  Just wait it out, thats the fun of turning 21....

  4. In CA, you can't get into a bar unless you're 21 .....  In Texas, some bars allow minors until 9 pm

  5. Uhh...depends on the bar. Sometimes you can get in at 18, but just can't drink. But I don't think you could get in anywhere at 16. But just so you know, studies have shown that kids who drink at a young age are more prone to problems with drugs and alcohol (not saying that you are even a drinker, but if you're not, why do you want to be around a bunch of drunks). Trust me, there will be plenty of time to hang out in bars when you are older - they're not so great anyway. Just don't be one of those teenagers that is so eager to "be cool" and fit in that you would compromise yourself...

  7. i belive you have to be 18 to enter a bar in georgia because you are allowed to smoke in there, and businesses  cant allow minors into a place where people can freely smoke.

    Most bars check ids at the door, so unless you get an id saying you are 18 you are SOL

  8. what makes you think that at 16 you can go into a bar? just to sit in the bar you need to be 21 so cross that off your agenda for a friday night

  9. No, you have no business being in a bar and I don't believe it's legal anyway. They probably won't let you in.

  10. I'm pretty sure most bars will allow you in until 12pm(not 12am) if you are with an adult.  They will, however, kick you out at a certain time.

    When I was a kid I used to sit in tons of bars with my alcoholic grandparents.
