I have a huge cavity on the bottom row in the back of my mouth. The pain is unbearable. I can't sleep or eat or anything. I am very much comtemplating going to the ER just to relieve the pain. But upon doing some online research, i'm afraid they will just look at me as an addict or seeker. The pain has moved up to my ear and is throbbing badly. I've tried home remedies, and nothing seems to work. I'm afraid of being turned away or being treated unfairly due to how I look, complaining of a DENTAL emergency in a place for MEDICAL emergencies. I'm open to any input, and just want to get rid of this godforsaken pain. I'm really afraid that infection may be spreading...

  1. I just went to the ER after hours of internet searching and failed attempts to subdue my tooth pain... they gave me antibiotics and a potent round of painkillers and I feel much better... it is a temporary fix but well worth it if you have good insurance or can afford the visit.
    I hope you feel better.
