  1. Schools out of New York State and California State don't tend to consider Regents scores too much because other states don't take Regents exams.

Whether you need to take another class next year or Math B, you should talk to an advisor at your school and see what they require/reccommend. The Math B exam is not required for a Regents diploma (it is required for an Advanced Regents Diploma).

I recently graduated from a school in NYC and know people who have gotten 65s-70s on Regents exams and have been accepted to college.

Remember, your acceptance also depends on your GPA, your SAT scores, your essay, your reccomendation letters, your extracurriculars, etc. The Math A Regents probably won't make or break your acceptance.

Finally, don't forget the positive side: you passed the exam! If you're not happy with your grade, you can retake the Math A exam (in January or next June). Just take some practice tests, maybe buy a Barron's review book, and work on the things you're a bit unsure about.

Good luck, and don't make yourself crazy by worrying! Like I said, your admissions decisions won't be based on your score on *one* test (even the SAT).

  2. You can try. Some universities will accept that and some won't :(

    Anyway, good luck!

  3. i think that you can take math b and universities will accept    you but you will have to take an extra class for math in university
