  1. Yes you can just make sure you give them all the nutrients that they need and if you can put them on a windowsill because natural light is better than fluorescent light.

  2. Go for it, but remember that unless you have industrial sized lights, smaller fruits and veggies will be more successful. Go for alpine strawberries, hot peppers, cherry or grape tomatoes.

  3. Yes you can.  Plants are green because photosynthesis requires red and blue light, and the light in the middle of the spectrum, green, is not used.  It's reflected instead.  At New Zealand's Antarctic base, Scott Base, for several years they ran a hydroponics operation in the Antarctic winter, when it's dark all the time, so they could have fresh vegetables.  I believe they used ordinary fluorescent lamps.

  4. Most likely not,

Plants need the vitamins from the sun. :)

  5. Probably not. They probably would sprout and grow but, would be really weak.

    Possibly potatoes.

    Tomatoes would be weak.

Def' not grapes, grapevine in your house?

You could grow some beans, they would be weak, but easiest thing maybe "only thing" to grow indoors.

  6. Yes you can grow them. They just won't grow very well. If you do try it I suggest you try doing it hydroponically.
