Can i hack the GPRS setting of an unlocked t-mobile sidekick slide, to acsess the net in Australia?

i have recently bought an unlocked t-mobile sidekick slide from over seas. i have put my telstra sim in it and it lets me call and msg, but i cant use the net. is there any way of changing or hacking the GPRS settings, so i can use it here in Australia ??

just put ur phone on roaming or get the settings sent to ur phone for oz
